morris mini mk1
somehow, blogger linked itself with my gmail account. so walla, i got back my password...hahaha..
most of my readers here sure know i gila kereta...im gonna dedicate my blog mostly to cars...hahaha....during my hiatus period, i have done lots of stuffs to my cars and i will try snap as many pictures possible so at least i got some material to post in da blog...hehe
apparently, my late grandpa's morris mini mark 1 is still running in the streets. the car was purchased in the early 1960's and sold in the late 1990's...when i was in primary school... i still remember i was quite upset when i found out grandpa had sold that cute little mini that ferries me to and fro kindy every day.
the car was originally grey when i was still a baby. it was involved in an accident few years later and was repainted chilli red.

i think i posted this pic up before.....my last days with the mini

and i spotted it in the streets not long ago (the number plate wasnt able to be captured with my camera phone in this pic but it was K 8506 Q, the same original number)

it was surreal, i was so overjoyed, unbelievable that someone took pity of the car and restored it back to its former glory. the last i know of the car was it landed on a fishmonger's hand (he pestered my late grandpa for months to sell the car to him) and probably used it to carry fish to the market everyday. i thought the fishmonger had driven the car into the sea when he could not afford to maintain the car -.- as it went hiatus from the streets for many many years
this particular mini had a long 30+ years of history in my family. whoever is the owner now, if you are reading this, thank you for keeping this car alive and running. when im rich enough one day, i would perhaps, buy back the car for a ride down memory lane =D
